The Dräger VarioGard® Central Unit is at the center of a cost-efficient, modular gas detection system. A digital Bus makes it possible to connect and manage up to 100 transmitters for various gases.
Multifaceted Alarm Management Four concentration alarms and four average alarms can be programmed on a freely selectable time base for each connected transmitter. If a gas alarm is detected, visual, audible and electrical indicators are activated so that suitable action may be taken.
Configured to meet customer requirements VarioGard Transmitters, VarioGard Relay Modules, VarioGard Converter Modules and VarioGard Battery Modules can all be selected in the quantity required, enabling the VarioGard system to be configured and programmed to meet the users exact specifications. The three-wire digital bus cable for connecting the individual modules can be up to 1100m long.
Simple operation The device is configured using six keys and a two-line display. The equipment comprises a three-color LED [standard operation (green), warning (yellow) or alarm (red)], a built-in audible alarm, and five programmable relays.
Tailor-made for use in CBRN hazard situations: The gas-tight Dräger CPS 7900 provides excellent protection against industrial chemicals, biological agents, and other hazardous substances.
