The Dräger VarioGard® 3200 CAT is a digital transmitter with an integrated catalytic DrägerSensor®. It detects the flamable gases methane and LPG in the ambient air. This affordable system component makes it easier for you to configure a gas warning system.
Digital function The Dräger VarioGard 3200 CAT is connected with the controller via the digital VarioGard bus. This is how it is supplied with electricity and how it transmits its measuring results. You can easily control the entire VarioGard system via the VarioGard bus.
High reliability The Dräger VarioGard 3200 CAT is equipped with a catalytic DrägerSensor. This sensor measures the concentration of flamable gases in the ambient air. The measured values are transmitted digitally to the controller and displayed there. An alarm is triggered if the gas concentration exceeds one or more of the limit values configured.
Easy operation Operation is extremely easy. You can make all configurations comfortably from the controller using VarioGard software. You can configure and monitor four current limit values and four averages over time for each transmitter. The alarms are optically and acoustically displayed on the transmitter and transmitted to the controller. A three-colour LED indicates the operating status of the transmitter. The calibration is controlled using a magnetic wand via contact points.
Individually configurable The VarioGard 3200 CAT is adaptable to your needs. This means that you have different gas libraries available depending upon the desired use: LPG for garages and CH4 for methane monitoring that does not require explosion protection. In addition, you can place the cable inlets on all four sides of the transmitter. The transmitter can be mounted vertically as well as horizontally.
Upgrade from Catalytic bead to infrared technology with ease using the DrägerSensor IR. The Sensor IR can replace catalytic ex-sensors (pellistors) from the majority of manufacturers without replacing controllers, cables, junction boxes or control systems.
The highly specialised open-path UV gas detection systems Quasar SafEye™ 950 and 960 provide reliable gas leak monitoring: The Quasar 950 model detects the toxic gases hydrogen sulphide and sulphur dioxide. The Quasar 960 model warns of toxic ammonia.
