Measure current up to 100 A without breaking the circuit with OpenJaw™ design. The T5-1000 Electrical Tester is a versatile troubleshooting tool to carry to every job site. Use it to check voltage, continuity, and current–all with one compact tool.
How to use the T5-1000
Just select volts, ohms, or current and the tester does the rest. The electrical tester auto-selects between AC and DC voltage up to 1000 V.
Plus, the OpenJaw™ design allows for fast and easy current measurements without needing to make metallic contact, just slide a wire into the open fork. The continuity beeper offers a quick go/no-go tests, resistance measurements to 1000 Ω.
The electrical tester comes with detachable Slim Reach probe tips so you can easily work in tight spaces. Or hand free work when you use the test lead holder to make the meter an “extended handle” for the probe.
Key safety features
An integrated protection circuit allows the tester to stay connected to a voltage source longer than a solenoid tester. The T5-1000 Electrical Tester also boasts:
A CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600 V rating
Withstands a 10 ft. (3 m) drop.
The T5-1000 has and Auto-off mode to conserve battery life. The unit fits into an optional holster that attaches to a belt and neatly stows test leads.
Fluke T5-1000 vs T6-1000
The T5-1000 uses the OpenJaw™ design to measure current without metallic contact, just slide the wire in the open fork and the T5 will do the rest. It also measures voltage and continuity with the test leads. The T6-1000 (https://www.fluke.com/en-us/product/electrical-testing/basic-testers/fluke-t6-1000) is designed to use FieldSense™ technology to display both current and voltage simultaneously.

Widest temperature range available in a single dry-well • Combined range from –30 °C to 670 °C, one unit – two blocks • Two independent temperature controllers (hot and cold side) • Stability to ±0.02 °C • Multi-hole wells for calibrating up to eight probes simultaneously
To give you the widest temperature range available in a dry-well calibrator, we’ve combined two of our most popular units. The 9011 allows temperature probes to be calibrated from –30 °C to 670 °C in a single unit.
Sturdy Flukes. Reliable Flukes. Flukes are accurate.
True-rms measurements and optimized ergonomics make the 320 Series Clamp Meters the best general troubleshooting tool for commercial and residential electricians. The 323, 324 and 325 series are designed to check for the presence of load current, AC voltage and continuity of circuits, switches, fuses and contacts. These small, sturdy clamp gauges are ideally suited for current measurements up to 400 A in tight cable enclosures. The Fluke 325 also offers DC current and frequency measurements.
